The Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Dortmund | Prof. Dieterle, Prof. Greb, Prof. Neuer is one of the pioneers of assisted reproduction in Germany. Alongside expert counselling and detailed diagnostic work-up for patients and couples affected by infertility, the clinic offers the very latest medical methods of fertility treatment.

The clinic actively applies every modern method of diagnosis and therapy in gynaecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine. In order to obtain and maintain its status as a certified centre for reproductive medicine, the Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Dortmund undergoes the strictest external quality-control procedure required of such medical institutions in Germany.

Germany was one of the first countries in Europe where every IVF (in vitro fertilisation) and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) procedure was documented in detail in a dedicated register. These data are published annually and monitored by the German Medical Association.

One of the Centre's areas of specialisation is counselling for couples and patients with infertility. The Centre offers patients every technique of modern reproductive medicine in diagnosis and therapy (IVF, ICSI, TESE and others). Of course, a pregnancy can never be guaranteed, but the specialists at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Dortmund have a range of means at their disposal to help nature along and create favourable conditions for pregnancy to occur. It is not always necessary to turn to assisted reproduction straight away. Often it is enough to use drug therapy and to determine the moment of ovulation precisely.

The Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Dortmund holds the status of a teaching and continuing-education centre for medical students and practising gynaecologists.
