Max Grundig Klinik Rehabilitation Hospital, Bühl

The premium private medical rehabilitation clinic “Max Grundig Klinik” in Bühl is situated close to Baden-Baden, in the picturesque Black Forest nature reserve at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level. The clinic occupies the building of the former castle hotel “Bühlerhöhe”, surrounded by mature parkland and centuries-old forest. It bears the name of its former owner, the celebrated German inventor and entrepreneur Max Grundig. Today the clinic is a certified rehabilitation, diagnostic and therapeutic centre equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, combining innovative methods with the comfort of a six-star hotel.

The clinic offers its patients single and double rooms and suites of various levels of comfort, layout and size. Rooms measure 20-27 m², suites from 50 m² to 150 m². The standard suites have a bedroom, a study with a sitting area and a balcony. Besides a bedroom and a study with a living area, the “Max Grundig” suite has a meeting room and its own terrace with a spectacular view over the surrounding countryside. The clinic has capacity for 95 patients; accompanying persons can be accommodated in the double rooms.

The clinic’s three restaurants, headed by the renowned chef Alexander Bernhard, who has worked in the finest Michelin-starred restaurants of Austria, Monaco, Germany and Switzerland, serve both haute cuisine and home-style dishes, taking religious, cultural and national preferences into account, along with a wide choice of dietary meals.

Three bars offer a wide selection of drinks and snacks; guests also have the use of indoor and outdoor therapeutic pools, a solarium, a sauna, a spa centre and a fitness centre.

The clinic grounds include a helipad, a car park, a golf course and trails for horse riding and cycling. In winter, guests of the clinic can go skiing. On individual request, walks in the surrounding area as well as cultural and leisure activities are arranged;

The clinic specialises in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of metabolic disorders, oncological and cardiovascular diseases, strokes and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. A comprehensive preventive examination — a check-up — can also be carried out at the clinic.

One of the areas of specialisation of the “Max Grundig Klinik” is rehabilitation and recovery therapy after surgical treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The rehabilitation programme is drawn up strictly individually, in line with the recommendations of the treating physicians, and is adjusted during the course of treatment.
