Dermatology in Germany

Skin cancer

Dermatological surgery

For naevi, basal cell carcinomas, senile keratoses and histiocytofibromas, the optimal treatment is most often surgical: once the benign or malignant lesion has been removed and tissue samples taken for diagnosis, the post-operative scars are corrected by reconstructive plastic surgery. The scope of dermatological surgery includes electrosurgery, laser surgery, cryosurgery and phlebosurgery, skin grafting using various microsurgical techniques, and sentinel lymph node removal.

Aesthetic dermatology and laser medicine

  • laser removal of pigment spots and freckles;
  • laser tattoo removal;
  • laser therapy of vascular lesions (spider veins/thread veins, haemangiomas, telangiectasias, vascular naevi);

Autoimmune, HIV-associated and sexually transmitted diseases
